Dave M.Dave Muolo is an ELA teacher at Lincoln Middle School in Syracuse, New York. He has worked in the Syracuse City School District since 1979.  Dave received his Masters Degree Concentration in Affective Education from S.U.N.Y. at Oswego.  He has worked for 28 years to make Lincoln Middle School a safe and caring environment.  Dave has been the Community of Caring Lead Teacher for Lincoln since 2002. He also serves as the Lincoln P.T.O. Treasurer, Director of the Lincoln Players Drama Club, as well as Yearbook and Literary Magazine Advisor.

He serves on many district committees and is a longtime volunteer for the Alzheimer's Association of Central New York. Dave also serves as Vice President of the Landmark Theatre Board of Trustees, Vice President of the Board of Directors for the SECNY Federal Credit Union, Policy Board Member of the Syracuse Teacher Center, Member of the New York State Teacher Centers PR Committee, Advisory Board Member for The Post-Standard Newspapers In Education Program, member of the planning committee for the 2008 National Community of Caring Conference and conference photographer for the past three years.

For his dedication to his students and community involvement, Dave has received numerous awards including the American Institute for Public Service Jefferson Award. Dave was also the recipient of the Community of Caring Middle School Site-Facilitator Award in 2004. The Syracuse City School district received the Community of Caring School District Award in 2005 and Lincoln Middle School received the Community of Caring Outstanding Middle School Award for 2006. Dave is trained as a Community of Caring Staff Development Trainer and as an Internal Coach for P.B.I.S.
