The Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Center for Community of Caring is seeking nominations for the 2010 Annual Community of Caring Awards in recognition of teachers, administrators, staff, parents, students, and community members who have made outstanding contributions to Community of Caring. Recipients are selected by a committee and will be honored at the 2010 Community of Caring National Conference in Sarasota, Florida. Recipients must be associated with a recognized Community of Caring program.
Any student, parent, educator, community, school organization or any other interested person may submit nominations. Official nomination forms must be submitted no later than April 10, 2010 in the following categories:
-Outstanding Lead Teacher (Elementary or Secondary)
-Outstanding Administrator
-Outstanding Community of Caring School
-Outstanding District
-Outstanding Adult Advocate
-Outstanding Student
